Prime Minister Balendra Shah has appealed to the general public to move forward from the disaster situation with patience, unity, and duty. Balen said on social media Facebook that one should not just give up or be discouraged in times of disaster. “The language of disaster is destruction and sorrow, but in times of such crisis, we must work with the spirit of unity, harmony and brotherhood in mind,” he said . He said that the government will be active in the rehabilitation of disaster victims and the reconstruction of a safe Nepal. “Let us all face this disaster together and join hands in building a safe and bright Nepal,” he said. Balendra has urged people to take necessary precautions to avoid disasters as the risk of disasters remains high in the Himalayan nation.
